J & E Machine Tech is a manufacturer of made in the USA gun accessories located in the heart of the Inland Empire. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team. This person will need to be extremely detailed oriented and able to multi-task. The Bookkeeper/Accounting Manager will be responsible for various aspects of our financials, including the accurate and timely recording of numerous transactions in QuickBooks Enterprise. Responsibilities: • Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing of customers, receiving payments against invoices and recording of deposits into QuickBooks • Accounts Payable including posting invoices to the correct accounts and payment of invoices • Correctly Posting numerous monthly transactions for several accounts • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for several accounts • Preparing monthly sales commission reports • Work on additional projects assigned by the owner • Able to follow directions, learn quickly and accept constructive criticism Requirements: • Must have a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping/accounting experience • Proficient in QuickBooks Enterprise • Proficient computer and typing skills and must be competent in using Microsoft Office • Able to problem solve and display strong analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must have a strong work ethic and be a team player Education/Experience: • Minimum of an AA degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration or in process of receiving a degree • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in bookkeeping/accounting
