Microbiologist needed for SHORT TERM assignment (4+ weeks) with opportunity for longer placement. Position is with a nutraceutical company in Mira Loma/Eastvale area. Pay is negotiable and dependent on experience. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm Schedule Duties Include: In accordance with Good Manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures, Safety and Sanitary Procedures, and QC Testing Procedures, the QA Chemist is responsible for analytical testing, Production and Packaging Inspections and disposition of materials. * Perform various chemical, physical and microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished product. * Handle and record data neatly and accurately. * Maintain GMP. Maintain that all equipment/environment are clean and ready for the next user. * Work well independently and as a team. Strong work ethic, self-sufficient, little supervision required. * Must have at least 5+ years of microbiology experience * Familiar with HPLC and GC. * Familiar with GMP regulations, as well as USP, EU and BP methods.
